NOASC is Hokkaido Japan's leading Adventure company running adventure activities throughout Hokkaido in Niseko, Kiroro and Jozankei (Sapporo) year round. Each winter we employ seasonal backcountry guides to help our customers and NOASC members to enjoy off-piste skiing in Niseko, Kiroro, Rusutsu and other parts of Hokkaido.

NOASC Niseko is our head operation here in Hokkaido Japan. Each year we are looking for....

experienced, and qualified guides who are wishing to join our NOASC team, enjoying mountain/backcountry guiding, along with many other guiding roles on various other NOASC winter activities. Our Guides work on various tours (lift accessed/hike up/CAT) in and around Niseko, and nearby mountain ranges. Several times throughout the winter we have tours to other parts of Hokkaido.

For Guides wishing to continue working during the summer as outdoor guides (rafting, canyoning, abseiling, hiking, etc.,) NOASC offers great opportunities to the right persons.

Additional Info

  • Job Duration: Mid- December through to February
  • Job Type: Seasonal (Winter)
  • Staff Accommodation: Dormitory Style, or help finding other suitable lodgings.
  • Staff Training: On the job training for new staff tail guides. Guides need exp. & aval. quals.
  • Visa: Working Holiday or Working Visa required. Inquire at your nearest Japanese embassy.
  • No. of positions: 3
  • Wages: Depends on ones experience and qualifications. Starting from 4,000yen per half-day tour.
